Two Minor Children Injured at Department Store in Durham
Premises Liability
Kreger Brodish recently represented the family of two minor children who were injured while shopping at a department store in Durham. The children were walking with their parents in the store’s toy section when they slipped on standing water that had negligently been left by store staff. They fell hard to the ground, and both children were injured and required treatment at a local hospital. When the store refused to take responsibility for the incident, the family sought assistance from our firm. We were able to successfully pursue the store and secure compensation so that the children’s medical bills were paid.
